A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME
My name is Kim Burke. I was born and raised on the West Coast of Scotland, although am currently based in Dundee. I am in my final year at Dundee University studying Product Design at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design (DJCAD). Outside of the studio, I enjoy surfing with friends on the east coast of Scotland and have been an active committee member of Dundee Surf Club for three years. A large majority of my time is currently spent in the studio, developing my honours project, bringing my vision for sustainable fisheries to life.
Over the past year I have interned for Louise Forbes Design. This exciting position has led me to assist wood carving workshops and develop my own woodwork skills. Alongside I manage her design store, Tayberry Gallery in Perth and have recently built her website.
