Developed a versatile visual identity and website
for a seafood festival.

The South West Sardine Festival aims to channel the energy of that you’d find on the streets of Portugal and Spain, getting everyone together to eat and drink and celebrate the arrival of the humble Sardine.

Launched in August 2025, the Sardine Festival is a relatively new concept, led by Rockfish and supported by local businesses, and last year it was roaring success.

Previously there wasn’t time and budget to form a visual identity.
This year the Rockfish team wanted to craft an festival brand to last.
They also wanted a versatile visual identity for future Rockfish led seafood festivals. A Rockfish festival brand palette and demonstration of a Mussel Festival Logo was crafted with guidance shared in the brand book.

Working closely with Rachel Walker, Head of Brand & Communications at Rockfish, I created a new visual identity and website for The South West Sardine Festival. From the initial brief through to final delivery, I designed the festival's complete brand identity, including bespoke illustrations, and designed and built a single-page website in Wix.

Alongside the core identity, I produced a suite of communication assets and brand application examples, culminating in a comprehensive set of brand guidelines to ensure consistency across future festival marketing and communications.
