Transforming Homes Website
Formed an identity and website for a sustainable housing project transforming homes to make them fit for future generations.
The project studied retrofitting interwar council housing with sustainable design, bio-based materials, and low-carbon technologies.
The website acts as a hub that connects stakeholders, shares innovation, and highlights real-world impact.
Key features:
Interactive Map: Visually highlights demonstration homes and project activity across regions.
Dynamic Team Page: Filterable profiles that make it easy to explore the consortium’s multidisciplinary teams.
Design Research Hub: Structured content to communicate architectural, material, and sustainability research.
Stakeholder Engagement: Clear pathways for community, academic, and industry audiences to connect.
Demonstration Homes Showcase: Dedicated space to spotlight retrofit projects and innovation in practice.
Outputs & News: Regularly updated section for reports, publications, and project milestones.
I had the privilege of leading the design for this project - from expanding the visual identity, inspired by their existing logo, to creating the multi-layered site in Adobe XD and collaborating closely with the developer to bring it to life. The project kicked off in 2024 and is expected to run until 2030.
