Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) Offshore Wind Report

Designed the 48-page Powering Healthy Seas report and accompanying infographics for the RSPB.

To maximise engagement with a 48-page report, I designed a concise digital executive summary as well as a report summary flyer for print distribution highlighting key findings. This was visually crafted to quickly inform readers while driving them to the full report via QR code/link - making the content accessible without overwhelming users.

Report launch.

The project also included the development of infographics, created for use within the report and adapted as educational tools for wider audiences.

Impacts of Offshore Wind - Developed to visualise the widespread impact of offshore wind farms upon seabirds, the environment and water users.

Sandeels Under Threat - Sandeels are a vital food source for seabirds and play a crucial role in food webs. The spherical layered infographic communicates three topics: the life cycle of a sandeel, the impacts of outside factors on sandeels and the impacts upon seabirds.

Busy Seas - Designed from a variety of detailed data sources, the stack of ocean layers aims to highlight the scale of activity in the North Sea.

Island Restoration - Non-native species such as rats, particularly on islands, pose a great threat to seabirds and thriving seas. This infographic aims to visualise these threats and impacts to push for island restoration programmes across the UK.

I led the design for this project which included the design of the executive summary, 48-page full report, accompanying infographics, all illustration and supporting maps.
