The Seahorse Restaurant Website and Visual Identity

Developed a timeless new website and refreshed identity for award winning Seafood Restaurant in Dartmouth.

The Seahorse is an award-winning seafood restaurant on Dartmouth Harbour, founded by Mitch Tonks and now led by his son, Ben Tonks. An institution on the South West dining scene, it is celebrated for its commitment to sustainably sourced seafood and its enduring reputation for exceptional hospitality.

The project refreshed the brand while honouring its heritage, introducing a more refined and sophisticated visual identity that reflects The Seahorse's place as one of the UK's leading seafood restaurants. Alongside the identity refresh, I developed comprehensive brand guidelines, created a suite of communications materials, and designed and built a new Squarespace website - delivering an elegant, intuitive digital experience that's as easy for guests to use as it is for the team to maintain.

Promoted a private dining space

Planning a gathering is hard enough. The Cantina document is handy to share with friends and family in a group chat, sharing space information, menu choices and providing a feel for the space through carefully curated photography.

In collaboration with communications specialist Laura Cowan, I refreshed The Seahorse's visual identity and designed a new website that brings the brand to life online. While Laura led project management and client collaboration, I led the creative direction from concept to launch, delivering a more refined identity and a considered digital experience.
