FNLRT Website Design

Transformed the Findhorn, Nairn & Lossie Rivers Trust’s online presence with a budget-conscious, nature-inspired design that resonated with a diverse audience - local communities, landowners, river users, and fisheries board members.

The Findhorn, Nairn & Lossie Rivers Trust works to restore resilient habitats and biodiversity across its river catchments. Their work tackles climate impacts, invasive species, fisheries, and education to ensure these watersheds remain climate and biodiversity strongholds for generations to come.

The website.

The FNLRT website needed to do a lot: act as a transparent governance hub, communicate ambitious environmental goals, and engage a wide mix of stakeholders. The site was designed to:

  • Environmental Mission: Translate complex project work and ecological goals into engaging, accessible storytelling at a landscape scale.

  • Governance & Public Access: Create clear pathways to board information and meeting resources, supporting transparency.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Design intuitive structures that serve diverse audiences — from local communities to landowners, fisheries boards, donors, and volunteers.

Visual identity.

Prior to developing the website, I overhauled the FNLRT visual identity — redesigning the Trust’s logo, introducing a fresh colour palette, and creating visual assets and imagery that reflected the organisation’s ambitious environmental vision.

I designed a refreshed visual identity and translated it into a dynamic, multi-audience website. I led the design elements of the project from moodboard through to completion, collaborating closely with an inspiring and motivated team to bring the vision to life. We collaborated with Scotland the Big Picture for imagery across the site.
