Developed and designed a comprehensive website that communicates the GDST’s mission as leaders in seafood traceability, while providing resources to a global audience of industry leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders.

This website was designed in Adobe XD, with visual assets created in Adobe Illustrator. I worked closely with sub-contracted developer
Ben Stones to manage the WordPress CMS build, and supported content upload and quality assurance across the site.

The GDST website needed to serve multiple roles: communicate industry standards, engage a global audience, showcase the GDST partnership, and provide partners with exclusive access.

  • Technical Clarity: Translate complex seafood traceability standards into clear, engaging content.

  • Global Engagement: Serve diverse audiences — from industry leaders to NGOs and policymakers.

  • Partnership Showcase: Feature partner logos and commitment statements to highlight collaboration and sector leadership.

  • Partner Portal: Provide a secure area for partners to access exclusive resources..

The website

Visual identity

The new visual identity for the GDST was
co-developed by a team of creatives at Mindfully Wired. I modernised the GDST look and feel and created a strong identity rooted in their existing, recognisable logo. The identity was designed to be professional yet bold and confident, reflecting their position as ‘the voice of’ the seafood traceability sector. I introduced a predominantly blue colour palette with pops of lime green, and developed thin, linear, weaving shapes and globe assets to suggest movement, traceability, and their global reach.

Following the new established identity I led the design of their website and communications materials - from presentation decks to documents - raising the digital footprint of the GDST and bringing the new identity into practical use.
